I had been always a fan of Japanese patterns, fashion and statement colours. They had been an inspiration for many artists , like one of my favourites, E A Hornel. I had been studying his pictures a lot in the past weeks, so this painting came to live as an effect of all those inspirations.
It is timeless in its classical form, and will hang comfortably in both modern and traditional spaces.
